RobinInOR
"Turkey Red Oil" - sulfated castor oil. It's been modified to be water soluable. That means you don't get the oil ring in the tub like you do if you just use plain oils, that float on top of the water.

Elizabeth
Try the etoh out robin. The first time i used it i measured it all out and added it to the batch in a divided dose. (can ya tell i'm a nurse lol)it was too much for the citric to handle and it reacted somewhat. Now i mist it on, 20 mists to start, mix, then 10 more. (I make double batches at a time)It works perfectly. Really holds it all together and makes for some nice smooth and hard balls. See what ya think and let us know..Any idea on the ps80/oil ratio and how much to start with??
RobinInOR
I'm not sure on the ratios, haven't researched it much yet.I did see a bath oil that was 85% oil and 15% PS80, so maybe start with a 5:1 oil to PS80? Haven't a clue, really, will have to take lots of baths to test it
