clane
I have to ship a muffin melt to Australia and wondered if anyone has done this and if there is something I need to know...
sudsnwicks
I have sent things to Australia before though it was not a muffin melt. You would either put it in a padded envelope or a small box and then submit it at the post office. Nothing special.
Lorrie
Ditto what she said. USPS is also the cheapest when shipping internationally:)
KarenOH
If it would fit in a Global Priority envelope that would be your best choice. My best friend and her hubby live in Australia and even when I send her cards I always use a GP envelope because of the length of time it takes for them to get US Mail. The last time I mailed her anything was at Christmas and it cost $4.95 to mail in the smallest envelope and she got it in about a week.It can take anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 mos for her to get packages from here. And remember when the PO gives you a time frame...that's just from here to customs. Australian customs moves very slowly! :-)Karen
mslegacy
I ship fabric to Aussie all the time, and averages about 3-4 weeks ship time by flat rate. I also use padded envelopes, and have never had any issues. HTH.
CareBear
If you pay for it through usps.com you save like 5% on the shipping cost I think.
