macyboutique
Could cyclomethicone be colored? I want to use the sprayers I receive and I do not want it just plain. Thanks
schmeebly
yes it can, Just be really careful that it does not stain where ever it is sprayed. and make sure not to use candle dye. Schmeebly
Laura
so how did you color it? we tried powdered like micas and oxides, which didn't work...it all just sank to the bottom. it's not water soluble; so most B&B dyes won't work.
BLSoaps
Micas and Oxides aren't soluble. Try liquid dyes. I don't know if you'll need to use oil or water based ones though. I've never tried to color cyclomethicone before.
Candle Man
I have tried every dye out there and could not get it to work. I thought I had it with the oil base B&B liquid color but after siting for a while, it didn't work either. So now I just print my labels to match the color of the loation and shower gel, so they still look like a matching set.
Jeana
What about these? I just ran accross them looking for something else. They say they tint bath water. They are expensive though. http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/StoreCategory.aspx?CategoryID=1025&CategoryName=Dyes+-+Powder
