Orange????

I am heating up some wax right now to make some pumpkin pie spice and don't have any orange die, but do have peaks primary colors...so I am thinking equal parts red to yellow from what I remember in my art classes from elementary school....oh so long ago. What does anyone else think?

I would start with more yellow then add red as you see fit. HTH

I agree with pam...start with the yellow and add the red to it a bit at a time until you get what you want. I don't have orange either and always mix my primary red and yellow to get it

I did start with the yellow and added the red to it...I now have a redish orange, but they aren't cool yet so I can't really tell what it will look like.

I always add a little brown along with orange to my pumpkin pie spice 2:1

adding some brown to make it look like the spice is in there. Most pumpkin stuff has spice and so brownish. How did it turn out? Soapymomma:cool2:

The color turned out awesome and was a total smash. I am using Palm wax so you get some great color variations with the wax normally and the orange looked great. I also did some black ones as well. I also have some orders for Christmas candles now as I gave them to some friends hosting a party and everyone was raving about them and the cold throw is amazing, so is the hot.
