cestlavielumiere
Does anyone know what type of fire extinguisher is required in a candle shop? Also, what regulation first aide kit? I am just trying to get this information together so that I can be prepared for the worst. I figured if you have it, "it can help ward off evil."Thanks,Tilly
Vicky_CO
You can get a really good Fire Extinguisher and First Aid Kit at Sam's Club. I believe you need and ABC but you can call your local fire department to be sure. ABC was what our local Fire Chief required.
Keystone Candle Supplies
If your insurance company did a walk through, they will tell you what you need. Usually 1-2 where you are working, and one near an exit. A standard one from any home improvement store will do. We have a standard first aid kit from wal-mart but stocked up on items for burns, as well as eye cleaning supplies in case oil gets splashed. Plenty of band-aids to for those votive molds. Having an fire exit plan would be a good idea too.
cestlavielumiere
Thanks very much. My shop is not very big at all. I am starting out of my house for now.
