  1. Kim is right, its amazing the differences. We actually had a scent we bottled out withing a week of recieving and within 2 days it changed color. Its just the properties of the ingredients. Its just like fruit, how diffrent it looks and tastes from one roadside farm to the next.
  2. I have played this was and found that if I poured at 150-155 and heated the molds, they turned out nice and smooth. This one also cooks pretty bad when heated and reheated.
  3. Apparantly the Post Office doesn't want any more business. Anything over 3/4 " thick is now treated as a package. And if its over 13oz, you can't out stamps on it. They can't be dowloaded off Usps.com either. Becuase of security issues....also a way to loose business!! Thanks for letting me vent!!
  4. Looks awesome! Would love to see some other colors!
  5. Since Soy is a natural product, you are essentially "cooking" it. That seems to ahppen with any 95-100% soy product if you mel , coool, melt, coll and again and again. I've done some like that once, but haven't noticed a difference in performance so far.
  6. If your insurance company did a walk through, they will tell you what you need. Usually 1-2 where you are working, and one near an exit. A standard one from any home improvement store will do. We have a standard first aid kit from wal-mart but stocked up on items for burns, as well as eye cleaning supplies in case oil gets splashed. Plenty of band-aids to for those votive molds. Having an fire exit plan would be a good idea too.
  7. WE have some http://www.keystonecandlesupply.com/catalog.php?item=73&catid=1&ret=catalog.php%3Fpage%3D2%26category%3D1
  8. From what I have tried and experimented and worked successfully. take your wicks and put the tabs but up against each other. This makes the wicks about 1" apart from each other. Then center them in the jar. Trying to center while holding the jar upside down has been the easiest for me.
  9. Fantastic buy on the pan and candle. Looks like awesome for being a newbie at it. Keep up the good work.
  10. Call me at 570-523-0967 I can then look up your order.
  11. FYI..We will be adding a liquid UV in June. We have been testing it for about 6 months now and it works great on reds, browns, greens, blues. Just add 1 drop to a 4lb pouring pot. It is much easier than a powder. We are still working on the packaging of it as it is very thick like honey.
