Help wicking this mold

Recommended Posts

found this while browsing antique stores & since it was marked "MOLD", I just had to buy it. It's 3x7 1/2"...is it a candidate for 3 wicks or 4 and any suggestions on what type/size wicks to start with? I've only done one 3 wicker so don't really know where to start. Will have to be creative with design so the finished candle doesn't look like jello!!

3x7.5.... it appears to have about a 1" taper (the base is 2"?)

seems like a good candidate for a single 3.5"-4" pillar wick. depending on wax type i like cotton braid 24ply for smaller 2.5" or 3" if i have a good wax otherwise I like to overwick with 30ply.

others i would consider HTP 93 or LX-21 throu Lx-24 depending on wax and prefrence for overwicking
