I'll trying to pour a few pillars, and a little experimentation. But I think I'm gonna try and do a couple cut-n-carve when I can. But mostly gona be carving pumpkins...

I had seen a guide somewhere for determining the meltpoint, but can't recall where it was off hand. AS for mixing your own blend, it is very possible. The improtant thing is to test and test and test some more. I'm still working out the ups and downs of additives. If you are wanting to do a mottled candle, use a bit of stearic and FO, but no vybar.

Not sure on the wick issue, but I bet that clear pillar wax would look great with that mold!

Sorry for the hi-jack, but while we are on heat guns... Is a heat gun different from an embossing gun? I've seen these at the local craft store in the scrap book section on sale but wasn't sure if they were the same thing.
