Place herbs into muslin or tea bags. When ready for use, simply drop a bag into bath water. Or, bring bag to boil in a water on the stove. Allow to cool, and add tea to bath water. Toning Herbal Bath Ingredients: 1 Cup Chamomile 1/4 Cup Comfrey 1/4 Cup Lavender 1/4 Cup Lemon Peel 1/2 Cup Peppermint 1/4 Cup Rose hips, Crushed 1/4 Cup Rosemary 1/4 Cup Sage Instructions: Combine all ingredients and mix well. Place herbs into muslin or tea bags. When ready for use, simply drop a bag into bath water. Or, bring bag to boil in a water on the stove. Allow to cool, and add tea to bath water. Peppermint & Lavender Tub Tea Ingredients: 2 tablespoons dried sweet marjoram 1 tablespoons dried lavender buds 1 tablespoons dried peppermint 1 muslin bath bag 1 quart boiling water Instructions: Combine dried herbs in muslin bag and close tightly. Infuse the bag of herbs in boiling water by simmering, covered, for 15 to 20 minutes. Allow to cool to lukewarm, then add herbal infusion and bag of herbs to your bathwater. Tub Tea for Aches & Pains Ingredients: 1 Cup Chamomile 12 Bay Leaves, Crushed 1/4 Cup Rose Petals 1/4 Cup Sage 1/4 Cup Rosemary 1/4 Cup Oregano Instructions: Combine all ingredients and mix well. Place herbs into muslin or tea bags. When ready for use, simply drop a bag into bath water. Or, bring bag to boil in a water on the stove. Allow to cool, and add tea to bath water. Anise Bath Ingredients: 2 C. Boiling water 1/4 c. mint leaves 1/4 c. rose petals 1/4 c. jasmine tea 1/4 c. anise seeds Instructions: Place mint leaves, rose petals, jasmine tea and anise seeds into a muslin bag and tie tightly. Steep in boiling water for 10-15 minutes. Then add to bath water. Allow to cool before getting in the tub. Rosemary Herbal Bath Ingredients: 1/4 cup dried, crumbled sage 1/4 cup dried, crumbled rosemary 2 tablespoons of oatmeal 2 tablespoons of dried parsley 2 tablespoons of coarse bath crystals Instructions: Grind or thoroughly mix the ingredients together and secure in a muslin or cheesecloth bag, and tie so that your "tea bag" hangs directly beneath your flowing bath tap. Fill your bath with warm water that steeps these herbs designed to relieve mental fatigue (rosemary), treat loss of concentration (sage), soften water (oatmeal), stimulate the body (parsley), and alleviate light-headedness (salt). Soothing, Hydrating AHA and Anti-Oxidant Tea Bath Ingredients: 1/2 c oats 1/2 c basmati or brown rice 1/2 c powdered buttermilk or milk 3 (emptied) or 1T loose green tea 1/2 t coconut or vanilla extract Instructions: Combine ingredients in a bowl until well blended. Place ingredients into cheesecloth and tie into a pouch with a string (i.e., like a large tea bag). Place in tub and rub a fairly hot bath, allowing pouch to submerge; using a glove or cooking mitten, squeeze the pouch occasionally to re-hydrate the ingredients. Allow water to cool to comfort; leave "tea bath" pouch in the tub. Soak in bath for 15-30 minutes. Mood Soothing Tub Tea Ingredients: 1 Cup of Lavender 1 cup of Organic oatmeal 1Cup of Calendula 1 Cup of Chamomile Instructions: Combine all ingredients together and mix well. Fill tea bags and seal. Herbal Tea Bath Ingredients: 2 Tbs. dried Chamomile 2 Tbs. dried Rose Petals 2 Tbs. dried Orange Peel 1 Muslin Bag or a coffee filter will work Instructions: Combine all dried items in a bowl and mix well, spoon into either a muslin bag or coffee filter and close. Make a loop with a piece of satin ribbon if your using a coffee filter and hang under the water spout as you fill your tub, then let steep and release all the wonderful fragrance.
