    I like them both. I would use the black one on normal products... It's easier to read. However you could keep the lighter version around for limited stock items or holiday items. Maybe dress it up in holiday colors for the text...

    Well I always start with 1% or lower if the Fo is REALLY strong, but it should be safe up to 3%... I would check peaks website to see if they have a suggested usage level. Regardless the FO is never going to smell stronger than it does out of the bottle it comes in...

    I've sent to emails to The Scent Works, both have gone without response. Both emails were sent to the sales dept. Anyone know if something is going on so that maybe they aren't answering emails???

    I was thinking the same thing. The pictures you have would be GREAT for a section on your site describing the scents. But you really need pictures of your products to let people know what they're getting.

    I agree, jewleweed is AWESOME! If you have it growing around your house you can crush some up and place it directly on the skin. You can also save it for later use by doing this: Gather up fresh jewleweed, remove all the leaves/flowers from the stalks. Boil water, then pour boiling water over jewleweed, DO NOT add jewleweed to boiling water. Steep for a few min then pour into icecube trays (leaves and all) freeze and store untill needed.

    I bought this a month or more ago, the gallon came with THOUSANDS of tiny bubbles all in the base, I figured if I let it sit for a while all the bubbles would rise up and go away.... I was wrong. The base looks really bad with all the bubbles in it, will heating the base make the bubbles go away? Or am I stuck with them?

    I start with 1% of the recipe for FO. I almost never have to go above that amount.

    Here's a good question... Is there a way to "prolong" the time it takes a "bomb" to fizz? I think in this case you would want it to last as long as possible. Since people aren't looking for the "fizz" they're really just after the smell in the shower. My showers take 20 minutes or more (I know I"m a slug) I wonder how long a regular bomb would last in a shower? Longer than when it's completely submerged into bath water, I would assume....

    Okay, so after I posted this, I went back downstairs and picked up the sample I had mixed up and It smelled just like a minty version of LLC! I was excited so I ran some hot water into a large bowl and poured the sample in... MENTHOL WOWNESS is all I can say LOL! My sinuses are clear now. You can't really smell the LLC, except for a "sweet" undertone to the Mentol. I wonder if that's the same for ALL recipes using menthol? I"m going to let it sit for a few and then come back to it and see if the LLC smell comes out after the Mentol has had time to drift away.

    This started as a conversation on weither or not Lemon London Curd would smell good if mixed with Menthol Crystals for a bath soak. I tested 1part LLC to 1part Crystals... It mostly smells like the Menthol crystals... but with a slight hint of LLC. Not quite the "Lemony Mint" smell I was going for.... but not to aweful. I'm going to mix up a couple of other %'s and maybe try another few FO's *I'm EO challanged at the moment* and see how it goes. Has anyone else tried other FO's in any recipes containing Menthol Crystals?

    Perhaps your right. I'm going to go try out a 1% Mentol Crystals to 1% FO and see how it mixes with the LLC. I'll let you know how it turns out!

    ROFL... Let me know girl! I went downstairs myself to get a reminder of what menthol crystals smell like.... WHOOOO they're strong.... I might still try it out anyways, just to see!

    OHHH I saw something like this on T.V. it was all the rave for a couple of months. Basically it's aromathereapy for you bath. It was like a bath bomb??? But it's sole purpose was to make your shower smell good... I guess if you made it using no oils (since you don't need the moisturizing properties) it could be made just like a bath bomb...
