candlecrazyinwv
Im doing some testing on a 3x6 pillar and using 60-44-18z wick and 4625 wax. It has been burning for 3 hours...does this look ok? I just trimmed to wick and relit it so I will keep an eye on the pool! TIA
ladysj
It looks good to me. I have used those wicks also and found if I burn them for more than the standard 3 hours I get a melt closer to the edges.
dcroome2005
Looks good but I would want it closer to the edge especially after 3 hours.
Scented
That's 3 hours? I would bump up my size or try a different kind of wick. To me the walls are too thick.
flutterbye
Very pretty candle by the way. Thats about how mine look after the first 3 hour burn using 30 ply. But after about the third or fourth burn, it starts to consume. So I'd say give it a few more burns to know for sure, You cant really tell on the first burn. If its not giving a fuller MP by then, try wicking up.

Patience
I'd say wick up.
Aspencreek
I would really say you need to wick up or try another wick.
dcroome2005
To me, that looks like a rustic. Am I wrong?? That may be why Cindy asked how much stearic you used because you need that with rustics. I could be wrong though.
