Cajuncandlemaker
Just purchased this scent from JS. It has an alcohol smell to it. I decided to make a batch of votives with it using 6%. After removing the votives from the mold, I still can't smell this one. Has anyone else tried this scent from JS. Should I try increasing the amount of oil? Lady_Sudz
try at 1 oz. Per pound of waxthat is by weight not volume..HTH
Cajuncandlemaker
Isn't 6% the same thing as 1oz per lb?
prcandles
Not always at 6%. But another question is, what kind of wax are you using?I used the BRV from natures garden and had no trouble with it. I used it in a para/soy blend.HTHPat
Lady_Sudz
I have Noo Clue...I have never use percent..If you used 1 oz per pound give it a day to cure..If it still stinks email the Co!That is what I would do..Have other people smell it too to make sure it is not your nose.. Cajuncandlemaker
I will give it a few days. If I still not happy with it, I'll reorder from NG. I love their fragrances also.
CareBear
1 oz ppo is about 6%.Really, you should work in percents, it makes it all so much easier.
