  2. Ive just ordered Cranberry Chutney and Storm Watch (one of my sons Yankee favs) from The Candlemakers Store. Has anyone got any opinions on them?......would love to hear from you. T I A.
  3. The Candle Source's Butt Naked smells just like the drink Malibu to me.......it worked well in my soy wax:D

  12. The Tropical Islands i absolutely detested and threw the wax and oil straight in the rubbish bin. White tea & ginger....lovely calming smell, great cold throw. Be Delicious.....gorgeous, great cold throw Orange Canteloupe......lovely, great cold throw Am letting these sit for a week or so before i test hot throw. Still to mix Spearmint, stargazer lilly and leather..........these are my latest from The candle source HTH:cheesy2:

  14. Black raspberry vanilla from the candlesource is a very sweet jelly type of fragrance.....yummy:)
  15. comforting to me would be a "grandmas kitchen " type of fragrance or to the other extreme a "baby powder" type. A new one that i just burnt at the weekend which was a beautiful soft floral fragrance was "Moonlight Path" from the Candle Source.....absolutely gorgeous.HTH:)

When i first mixed BRV from the Candlesource at 1oz pp,it didnt have much of a cold throw......smelt a bit waxy to me, but left it for a week or so and the scent intensified a bit, so i burnt it and WOW....got a great hot throw of a delicious scent. my son even commented on how much he liked this one......and thats saying something!.BTW i use soy.
  17. Yes that made sense ,i coloured mine pale green. The scent is just like when you walk into a florists. I asked my son "what the smell reminded him of"?,and he replied "the cemetery",i presume he meant the fresh flower smell.....he associated it with our visits to the cemetery....bless him:awww:
  18. Hi Birdieluvr, I wonder if my bottle of Tropical Islands was "off"? being that its a great seller of yours..... hmm very interesting. I agree Lorens oils are wonderful, as is the customer service,you really couldnt ask for better. Ive tried about 50 or so of his oils and only had a couple of misses so far......you cant like everything can you?
  19. Hi Sugary, have tried 16 on your list and loved 14 of them, but didnt like Spring Rain,and just mixed Tropical islands today...YUK , threw the wax and oil straight in the bin, to me it smells of Meths. would love to know if anyone else has had that experience:smiley2:

  21. Hi , just mixed this one today. Dont know if its dead on, but its got a nice floral smell to it. Mine is from the candle source.......cold throw in soy very good, have yet to test for hot throw.
  22. I have Cristmas Splendor from The Candle Source and that is a spicy orange with a hint of clove type of scent.This works well in soy for me:)
