EmpressC
I searched but couldn't find an answer...sorry if I missed it. I'd like to know if anyone has tried using a metal candle mold to make M&P soap. I have a 12 x 4 x 3 loaf mold for candles that I think would be perfect for the size soaps I want to make. I am just wondering how difficult it would be to get the loaf out of the mold. Anyone with any experience and/or suggestions? TIA.
ladysj
I've never used a metal mold so I can't help much on that. As far as getting it out of the mold just stick it in the freezer for a few seconds and it should come right out. HTH some.
Kaybee23
There are several places that sell metal molds for M&P, like tubes and such.
Jcandleattic
You can use it for M&P, yes. But it may rust if you use it often because of the cleanup. Don't use it for CP though, or you'll have to throw it away after the first use. (umm don't ask me how I know! lol :tiptoe: )
EmpressC
Thanx for the input! I think I will try it, but I'll line it with wax paper so as not to mess up the mold...I still wanna use it for candles too!
