Fire and Ice
Has anybody poured this in a candle and if so, what were your thoughts? I have 4oz to try but I'm just wondering what to expect as far as what it smells like in wax. I don't care for it out of bottle scent. Any ideas for colors? Thanks, Fire
Kigers24
I really like Indonesian Teak and it throws great in 70/30 (have not tested in C-3 yet). I color it a light brown. I have several male customers who love this one also.
Pam W
Very strong throw in GL's 70/30 and paraffin. No long curing time needed and I also do light brown. The throw will smell the same as OOB only stronger. I have a 16oz burning now for wick testing.
Cindy/WI
I've used it in C 3 @ 8% and it's pretty strong you could use 6% and still have a nice scent throw. HTH Cindy/WI
gerrie
This is a very strong FO. I use 70/30 and I can smell a votive burning throughout the house. To me it smells just like the 60's men cologne English Leather.
Freezin
It is a very strong hot and cold throw in my Harmony wax. I have also put it in room spray and I was surprised at how much I like it. It isn't a scent that all my customers want, but it is the favorite of a few. I had burning in a pillar (1343) earlier tonight. I blew it out about an hour ago and I can still smell some lingering scent.
Fire and Ice
Thank you all for your answers. I'm going to pour it this afternoon and test it over the weekend. I was thinking of a light brown color as well Maybe an Ivory color too. Thank You again, Fire:cool2:

Darbla
I think I'm fixing to throw this 1 ozer I have in some wax. I don't think I like it for body stuff but maybe it's great in candles. I think I'll do brown + some black to color it. Isn't teak wood very dark?Darbla
TxSioux
I just tested this & got great results in soy. Everyone's loving this one & I'm ordering a lb this weekend. Very good throw. Can't put my finger on it, but it's very perfume/powdery, yet masculine.Susan.
Fire and Ice
Hey, Fire and Ice, did you ever pour some 'Indonesian Teak' candles?Yeah I did but I discovered my customers didn't care for it! I poured one candle and that was it. It does have a strong throw but not something I could sell. Fire
