idacandlelady Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 I am having a hard time deciding if I want to use the .5 oz or 2 oz twist tube. Those of you who use tubes which size do you think is better. I poured my test batch into .5 oz ers and I used mine up fairly quick. Just wondering what customers seem to prefer. Quote
gerrie Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Same problem I had with the .5 oz, way to small for me. Then I went to the 1 oz, and I found that even that gets used up to fast. My next purchase will be the 2 oz sticks. Not much help since I've actually never tried the 2 oz, but I can say the .5 is pretty darn small, think it would work better for a cuticle balm or something like that. Quote
LovelyLathers Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 I use the 2 oz. I do make a few .5 oz to have for a sample or if someone wants a purse size. They both sell well. Quote
heirloomoriginals Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 I am holding a co-op for the 2 oz natural ones. Check the co-op section!steph Quote

idahospud Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 IMO 2 oz is the perfect lotion bar size. Quote
MsDammit Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 I like using the 2oz tubes for shea butter, I hate having to scoop it out of a jar and it getting it under my fingernails. Quote
hawaiiansun Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 MMS has a .75 tube that's really good. I use all and people like the .50 or .75 best for lotion bars because they can keep it in their purse. I use the 2oz for my foot bars. Quote
coloresse Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 As far as what I purchase as a customer, personally I don't tote them around with me. So I always buy the largest tube I can get. Usually that's a 2-2.5oz size. But as a product to sell (B&B is new for me), I've made up samplers in the .5 clear tubes and that has worked very well. Then if they love it, I made the large bars for them. I am still experimenting with the molds and tins. HTH. Quote
Chauna1 Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 Where can the 2 oz Round Twist Up Tubes be found?Chauna Quote
Chickie1st Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 I use both and call my smaller one, a travel size. I took my travel size with me on my trip to Ca, I was sure glad I had one with me. Quote
