diamondk
I have searched and can't find any recipe for this. TIA
Purple Lilac
Make your own recipe up - sub it for another oil from a recipe you like and run it through a SAP chart and try it.
Purple Lilac
Just took it for granted you wanted a soap recipe - that's why I said run it through a SAP chart.
Elizabeth
That's an extremely expensive oil to use in a soap recipe IMO. I've seen it used most often in lotions and it is a really great oil to use
julie
I use the squalane as it is or you can add specific eo as a face serum. It is pricey but great stuff!Julie
diamondk
Thanks for the replies. I didn't want to put it into soap. What type of containers do you use for the face serum? What eo's would you suggest and how much? I have a pound of this oil and had no idea how to use it. TIA

I sometimes put just a drop of lavender eo in it. hthJulie
Elizabeth
OIC. Sorry. You might want to check over on the whisk or the soap dish forum for a recipe using it.
lindsaycb
I've seen this mostly sold just as plain squalene. Interesting..I haven't tried it yet though. Is it wonderful as a face serum? From the packaging, I've really liked the simple dropper bottle look. Its very upscale & sends a message that you don't need much. RobinInOR
Suggestion - don't put 100% squalene in a treatment pump. I've got one in the bathroom right now and it's just too thin - it squirts all over the place. I'm going with a dropper bottle. Those treatment pumps need something a bit heavier. Please point me in the right direction. TIA
RobinInOR
Actually, I'm using glass bottles w/ separate glass droppers in the cap - so I can't really help on plastic ones that work well.
edensong
Robin, that's good to know about the treatment pumps. Do you think it would be the same problem with the oil cleansing combo of just castor and jojoba? They're much thicker than squalane.
