sheila sullivan
Ounce per ounce, is it more cost effective to use a lotion base, or make your own....I currently use a base, but I'd like to make my own to help keep cost down. foxhill
I buy my butters/oils in bulk and for me it is cheaper to make my own lotions.
sudsnwicks
In the short run, using a base is cheaper, due to all the wasted ingredients when you're making practice batches and testing. In the long run, it costs less to buy the ingredients and make it yourself.
