M&P Question

Hi everyone,

I ordered my soap base from BCN and I like it except it's a little drying. It laters really nice, and feels good but I'd like to make it a little more moisturizing. Is there something I can add to make M&P bases to increase the moisturizing without ruining the base? Or is it best to just leave the bases alone?

The base is a soy base and I added gardenia scent to it at the supplier recommended amount.

There's a lot of info on adding to M&P bases if you do a search.

You can add all kinds of things to M&P bases. Check out the soap additives section from your supplier. I believe BCN has soap additives too.

I ended up buying a couple of great books that had a lot of info and recipes and I also found a lot of stuff here when I did a search.

I put shea butter and raw honey in my mp soap base. It isn't drying at all. Very moisturizing, in fact.

And then as far as labeling is concerned I will need to contact my supplier to find out placement of where the additive should go?
