Nicky
Anything in particular I should be warned about before hand? I shouldn't get my hopes up or down with the color at first. Correct?
CareBear
Mine always come out pretty true to what was promised. Reds are hard though - dont count on that!Notice that there is a separate chart for recipes high in OO>

Meridith
I love my Select Shades and the colors I can get. But I did have a funny thing happen to me the other day and I think I read about this happening to someone else before too. I was making a green color to go with my Lime Sugar Soap. The color was great at first when added to the soap but then it turned yellow!! And then it almost completely disappeared! I hoped the color would come back because this is a wonderful scent. But the color never did and you can barely see it. Oh well, I still love my SS.

Scented
I think maybe I should test them first and make sure they're ok for ya to use Seriously, let me know what you think because I see a liquid future here me thinks.
CareBear
Another thing to note is that I have mine in a little box that accidentally tipped over and lay on its side for a day or two. Three of the bottles leaked a bit even though the caps were on tight and all. So be careful

MsDammit
I luv my select shades, as a matter of fact I just made some soap and decided to try some oxides-had a VERY blonde moment, grr..... I mixed the oxides with oil to dissolve then forgot to mix the color with the soap. Just poured the soap and added the color and swirled it. What sucks is that it was the best swirl I've did. It's real oily, lol, not sure if it'll be usable or not.:embarasse
