gerrie
I know there are a hundred different types of wax to choose from, but can any of you give me your opinion on a good soy/para blend wax for votives. I'm trying to make the switch from 100% paraffin to a blend for my votives and tarts and just not sure where to start. I've heard the CB 10 isn't a bad one, so I'm going to try it, but not sure where to turn after testing that one. Do they all require a repour, and do any of you find they are hard to wick? My paraffin was so easy to work with, but it's time for the change. TIA
msonmez
Hello there. I am new to making candles, and I got the KY para/soy votive blend. I liked it, and liked the look of the candle. I thought it was easy to use, too.
Candle Makin Momma
I use the Ecowax. I get it at BCN. I really love it. IF I pour it at the right temp it is a one pour. But I usually mess that up and have to top it off.It is a bit hard, so I add a little Ezsoy to it so it doesn't crack.
ChrisR
Hi Gerrie!! I also use KY's and really like it and didn't find it difficult to wick.
gerrie
Thanks all, guess I'll try KY's blend then. Just want to test one at a time, so I'll start with that one. Thanks again, and Chris, hope you're feeling good.
