country creek
I really like the way this 50/50 burns but I do not like the way it looks. It is cracking at the top so I have to smooth out the tops with my heat gun and then it looks fine. They are also pulling up around the wick at the top which is really annoying me! Candlebuddy
What temp are you pouring at? I pour at around 150. Also, pour slowly.
country creek
I have been pouring a little warmer than usual because I was in a hurry but even the ones that I waited and poured at a lower temp had some kind of solvable issue. Oh well, I love the way they burn!!!
cleanglow
hmmm, I haven't had that problem. I also pour at 150-155. They are a little concave after setting up so I just hit the m with the heat gun and then they look great. Good luck with the cracking, I hope you figure it out! country creek
I think it was the temp in the house on the first floor at night (my hubby turns down the thermostat when we go to bed) but once I moved them up to the third floor, the new ones I poured did not do that.....Do you notice that the 50/50 has more soy traits than paraffin compared to the 1275? The look to me is different. I was really hoping that I would like this wax but I really miss the 1275.
