friendlyMOM
okay I have no idea how to ship them to prevent leaving the oils from the scrub, does anyone have any ideas on how to prevent it? I have the inner seal things but they dont work
WYJen
When I ship anything that might leak, I put electrical tape all around the seals. It doesn't exactly look pretty, but it's easy for my customers to remove and I've never had a leak.
friendlyMOM
great, thanks, off to wally world to get me some tape, is it the black kind?
LaVida
try the inner seal and the shrink wrap... E.D. Luce & Sksbottle.comif you use electrical tape I'd try to go with White tape to go with the jar. that's what I do with my bottle tops because they're white... WYJen
Yes- just the black electrical tape. I stretch the tape when I'm putting it on so it's really tight- not sure if that makes a difference or not, but it makes me feel better:cool2:
Michi
You can get this same kind of tape in different colors, they have it in white and red that I know of, you'd be better off trying to find it at a hardware store though I would think-bigger selection than WallyWorld. Depending on your lid color though, the black may be just fine.
LaVida
exactly Michi.... I get my white tape from Lowe Home Improvement... It's hard to find in Wally World... Home Depot has it as well... I get it from lowe's because they have sizeable rolls and it comes in a case to hold it in.

Soapin_Commando
We recommend that you use the BayouLock Tamper Resistant seals. Many of our customers have had great success shipping product with them, and they really give your product a professional looking finish.Bill Griffithhttp://www.BayouSome.com
swamp_deb
I'll second the Bayoulock seals, if you follow their directions, they are leakproof and look professional. I highly recommend them.

Soapin_Commando
could you also recommend a size that will fit the 4 oz bouble war jar? I am no good with the mm thing :embarasseIf it is a standard 4oz Double Wall Jar, it will require a 70mm seal. Usually there is a size stamped inside the lid, so you should double check.Bill Griffithhttp://www.BayouSome.com

CC on Maui
When I did scrubs, I used to use plumbers tape. It's a thin, white stretchy plastic tape (not a sticky tape) that you stretch tightly around the jar threads a couple times. When you screw on the lid, you won't have any leaking. Works like a charm.
