Anyone do this?

Recommended Posts

I'm thinking about adding some beeswax to my soy. How much beeswax per pound of soy should I add? How much would this affect wicking?

I'll do a search and see if I can find any info, but I look forward to some responses!

BTW where in Wisconsin are you Kelly?

Dani

I'm in Hartford Wisconsin :D

I'm in Madison. Thanks for the response, I'll give the beeswax a try, although I like "bumpy" appearance of soy. But just because I like it doesn't mean others will!! :)

I have it averaged for 100% soy at about 2-3%. And I usually had to wick up depending on the fragrance. I stopped using the BW because on really cold days the tops would crack no matter how much I lowered the percentage and various times it would pull away from the jars.
