I love sweet scents, and anything made with any wax and any B&B.
    I have no allergies.

  1. I live in So Cali and I bought the soy container wax kit from BCN a few months back...very nice value IMO! Very nice people and great service IMO! Several hundred dollars later I am still ordering from them and have also tried the following suppliers in this order, and I had no qualms whatsoever: Candlescience Just Scent BCS Candles and Supply Farmhouse HTH!!! The cheapest shipping was through CS...and I bought a couple dozen jars and 2 8 oz FO's and more...
  2. I got 12 4 oz tins and 12 8 oz mason jars from CS awile back. Great prices on shipping, and great service. I think the shipping was 8 bucks... I will order from them again, fast and reliable. HTH!!
  3. And what is a true Verbena? I always hear of berry, lemon or something before the word Verbena. Then I get people who say they love Verbena. I am confused!!:embarasse
  4. Thanks for the very much needed advice!!!! I use stickums, and wick setters, the metal ones with the v in the center, but I did improvise and use a metal tablespoon as a wick setter; bad, bad, bad!!! I only have 2 wicksetters for now, really all I need, as it is a hobby for now... LOL!!! As I small the wafting FO's in the candles across the room
  5. Ziploc is bad for FO's. I use cellophane baggies, any kind of Party City bag that has the small party bags, and I think they have a number 5 on the bottom...I never found the number 5, but I have been making tons of tarts, and did use ziploc, and after using the cello bags, they work better IMHO! HTH!
  6. Is it idiot proof? I have made a few test candles with it. After the candle cured, eyeballing it, the wick seems off center to me. These were 4 oz tins. TIA~!
  7. What is the diiference between the above posted recipe and the smelley jelly beads??? I have done aroma beads, and except for ornies, I was unimpressed (I may have a huge tart/candle nose though! LOL) What I am asking: is the above recipe comparable to the actual smelly jellies? TIA!
  8. Congrats to you too!!! We are so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is so nice to be out of Tartland anyways LOL!!!:highfive: Kinda sick of being a Tart pro Only so much creativity with tarts, and I did the coffee ground sprinkle and the cinnamon sprinkle too!!!
  9. Finally!!!!!! I poured FH 50/50 in an 8 oz Jelly Jar and used an eco 8 and FH SnowyPine Fo... Perfect MP, Perfect Hot and Cold throw...no mushrooming, tunneling or any wierd conditions!! I am a happy camper, not because I am in an X-Mess rush to mass produce, but, I finally made a perfect candle! Whoot!!!
  10. I finally made 4 container candles today!! I used the FH 50/50 and Snowypine uncolored! Two of them nippled and 1 that nippled cracked but I love it so much better then the ez soy! I have a heatgun so I think I can fix the problem. I also had enough left over and made 3 tarts in metal molds. So it can be done! I just had to freeze them until they got very cold and the tart popped right out of the mold! I love this scent!!!
  11. Well I found the thread I wanted here: http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38308&highlight=farmhouse+order+question And yes I did my home work I was correct and Candle Buddy confirms it: Originally Posted By Candlebuddy: Just never thought I was so studious to bookmark a page but I did!!!I was going nuts because I knew I had searched and read about 8 oz square masons with FH Blend and Snowey pine and cd 10's!!! 12. No worries! Just a hobby, but I have not made a candle in like, 2 weeks, so I will takes notes and wait and see!
  13. I ended up repouring it with a CD 10. The temp was still around 130 so I just reheated it on the stovetop to 150, my testing pouring temp... to avoid cracks... This is the FH 50/50 blend and FH Snowey Pine I only made 1 6 oz of wax for an 8 oz tester and added 1/8 FO... Weighed it all, but rewicking took a toll on my measurements, so now I am under the "lip of the mason jar... But I think I may like this 50/50 blend better than EZ Soy... I like pouring at a warmer temp, and I think the throw will be better IMO! Thanks for all the help!!
  14. Well I tried a CD 14 I can alway yank it and wick down...Thanks! This FO is amazing BTW!!!
