Candlelovr
Hmmm, just burned one and the middle was hollow...guess it does need a repour..Bummer!
Kaybee23
The palm waxes should be poured hot and relief holes kept open on them while they are setting up. Once they are totally firm, repoke inside the same relief holes again to make sure they are still open and fill up just the holes. If you heatgun it or pour a complete second layer, as the wax pulls away from the mold; your repour will run down the sides of the candle and mess up your feather texture. Henryk
Here's a trick, when you level the pillar with the palm waxes, instead of heating them which will kill the texture, use a serated knife and shave it flat instead - you may find that you like the BOTTOM of the candle better than the top and wick it in reverse. hawaiiansun
After you pour wrap a towel or something around the mold, it has to cool slowly. Like Henry said, you can lose the texture easily. I go easy with the heat gun, and use a skewer to push the wax to level off the top. You don't want the wax going over the sides, or it'll ruin the texture
