izzy2
Which is better, liquid dye or chips? Or is it just personal preference? Also does one colour give brighter results or would that be attributed to the type of wax you use?TIA
NancyJo
I prefer liquid over chips, more control for creating colors I feel.

Candle Man
I use both liquid & chips, I find some waxes work well with liquid but some don't so I use chips for them.I find I can't get dark colors with liquid in soy wax so I use chips for soy. Fern
I like to use both liquid and color blocks. Sometimes I can't achieve a very deep color with the liquids so this is where the color blocks come in. Also, some of the colors that I like, don't come in liquid, so I use the blocks for those. Scented
To me it's a personal preference. I use the liquids, blocks and chips. I rarely try to use chips though, because I find it's harder for me to get the color I'm going for w/out using 2-3 chips.
sugarysweet95
I like chips the best, as i find them so much easier to use, liquid dyes can be a bit messy, as can dye blocks if you only need a small quantity. I only really use liquid dyes to create a special pattern, like a swirly colour effect over my chunks. (I'd show a pic but not sure how, the add attachment only allows tiny pics!) julwid
I also prefer the liquid. I have tried the chips but the liquid to so much better to me.
snow
I recently bought, for the first time, color crystals and they work great! Doesn't take much to get a good rich color. I bought 2 colors to try and I loved them.
