Heres MY trick for holding lip balm tubes.I use the flower foam trays from wal mart craft area.You can get 3 square blocks of this for like $2!!!!!!!!! I just press my tubes down in the flower foam and its perfect!!!! can :highfive: use over and over again!!!!!

Hi..I am new to the group,only posted a few times.I make M&P soaps as well.An old friend of mine gave me a trick that will harden the M&P soap..It does work for me.. Put 1/2 cup of water in a glass dish(measuring cup is what I use,and I also use distilled water) warm it in microwave.Not so hot that it burns your finger when you touch it.Add 2 Tablespoons of table salt..Stir 2 times..let the salt settle in the bottom,and add 2 Tablespoons of salt water (do not allow any salt in the spoon) to one pound of M&P..Then melt your soap base as usual...You can work with the amounts of salt,but this works for me.i could tell a big difference in my bars....HTH,hugs,vicky:highfive:

Hi Izzy2, I make my candles,and have 2-3 of my closest friends/family members test them in their home...They write down how long they burn,and all the useful info like that.. I do not test my own candles,simply because of all the scents I have around here.it smells like a candle shop ALL the time,so I fear I could not judge that well... I have had to take some very constructive criticism when i first started out..BOY!!!!!!!!!! lol..HUGS,vicky

I also perfer liquid.I also use chips,but find that they sometimes do not melt like they should,and I have an ugly candle...But,its really up to you.Try both,see what you like..HUGS<vicky
