mguard
I currently use double 44-32 or 51 z wicks with my 10, 16 and 26 oz apothecary jars in 223. I also use low smoke 21 or 23 wicks in these jars. I was wondering if anyone is getting a better throw using different wicks -- like HTP or LX or are zinc wicks the best choice for this wax? gingerinarkansas
I always use zinc in my container candles and I use J223. Different sizes would depend on the jar diameter and oils. Ginger
scntdwik
I use J225 which has been almost the same as 223 and I use LX wicks and they work great for me.

craftyinala
I use the LX wicks with J223. Get a great hot throw and they burn clean.
butterfly
I must reply that ZINC's & LX's do work for me in J223. Which is the wax I use for containers. As well as a mix of J223 & 1343 for melts.
Judette
I use J225 which has been almost the same as 223 and I use LX wicks and they work great for me.Same here. Some of my smaller jars I still use zinc. But the more I try the LX work for different applications the more I like it. Only use them for votives now.Edited: meant wick-I am up at 4am -another sleepless night.
