bassgal71
Help! I need some feedback and thougths on what I should do. I've been having problems with C3 Wax. I've used it for three years and have never had ANY problems with it. Everything has been working great until I ordered a batch of wax a few months ago. I used the SAME combination of things I've used for years - no new wicks, scents anything. The only thing different is the wax. I called the company and they sent me a new batch of wax. I tried the new batch last weekend adn the same thing happens. It burns a hole right in the middle and goes out. I emailed the company again and they said they've had no complaints about the wax. UGH! It's the only thing it could be.....I ordered five more pounds from a different company. It should be here tonight. What would you do. I'm already past the point of pulling out my hair. I've got lots of people waiting on candles.......Thank you so much for any advice!!!
Twoscentsworth
You say no new wicks, but is it a new batch of wicks? Try using different wicks and see what happens.....some of us got some wicks a while ago that fizzled out.......if that doesn't help then I hope someone else will have a suggestion for you. I have a whole case of CBL-141 that does not/will not throw, so I feel your pain sigh.
Accents
I'm sorry, I don't know what to tell you. I guess I might try rewicking, but on some jars, there's not much higher to go. I remember your post on this earlier. Were both batches the same batch number? If you're desperate, I have a case I haven't opened yet... same batch number as the one I'm using which is fine. topofmurrayhill
Could there be an air pocket near the wick that's causing it to tunnel in and drown? It's probably inevitable that C-3 batches will vary from time to time. Maybe this one just needs a little adjustment in pouring temperature to avoid getting a cavity, at this time of year and this particular phase of the moon.
