candyb
What does Natures Garden "Witches Brew" smell like to you? I can't pinpoint that elusive scent but to me it smells of spice, fruit and licorice. I have an open house tomorrow and I made up some simmering potpourri packets and I know someone's going to ask what that scent is. I might just say it is a mysterious scent and smells different to everyone. Do you think anyone will believe that?Candy
Scented
Haven't tried theirs, but typically it's a blend of patchouli, cedarwood and cinnamon, a little eye of newt, wart of frog, pluck of cat hair
cbarber03
I've tested this scent myself. When burning, it kind of smells like a spicey, candy corn, patchouli mixture. I really liked it, but I went a little overboard with the fall scents and had to leave that one out.

snow
I bought some from MS and I hate it, is there anything you can add to it to make it smell better?
Roxanne
I haven't tried Nature's Garden Witches Brew, so I have no business posting in this thread, but ... I read a comment on another board that it's mainly a tobacco scent with spices. Any chance the mystery note you're smelling is tobacco? candyb
I wouldn't say it smells like a cigarette but it does have a deep scent that might smell similar to some pipe tobacco. But I think the mysterious scent is patchouli.Snow- I find that apple can help round out or tone down some scents not sure about this one though.Candy
Scented
There's no tobacco scent in this mix. Trust me.
Jorie
I don't know. I used this last year to make candles for a party my parents were hosting. One of my parent's friends said this one smelled like the doe in heat spray he uses when he hunts. Either that or it was the black magic one. I can't remember exactly. sandyrose
I just received some the other day! It smells like Patchouli with a soapy background.
