lanes_light7
Would this product: http://www.thesage.com/catalog/Additives.htmlbe the same as this one: http://www.bulkfoods.com/search_results.asp?txtsearchParamCat=1&txtsearchParamType=ALL&txtsearchParamMan=ALL&txtsearchParamVen=ALL&txtFromSearch=fromSearch&txtsearchParamTxt=4153I hope so because it's much cheaper at BulkFoods. smartdog
I've been using Natrasorb Bath from a Canadian distributor, and I wouldn't mind knowing if the two are the same too. It would appear so, as far as both being a tapioca starch. But, by asking National Starch, who supplies it, you might get a better answer. swift
I'm just wondering which Canadian supplier you refer to in your message. I'm in Canada and I can't find it here! Thanks! (I did write to National Starch, but I haven't had a response, even though they sent me out a sample!)

lanes_light7
I am still trying to get answers on this one! I called one company that sells Natrasorb Bath & they said that it has Tapioca starch & another ingredient in it. I can't remember the name exactly but is was Malto or Multi something. It is an ingredient that the food industry uses quite a bit. I also called BulkFoods. He checked their ingredient list & it said Tapioca starch or flour but no multi-whatever. I am thinking that maybe it is 2 different things!
soapermom
natrasorb bath is maltodextrin, that is derived from tapioca starch.. the INCI only lists it as Tapioca Starch, not maltodextrin AND tapioca starch. It can come from other starches such as corn.. but national starches is from Tapioca.
