I'm eager to try making milk baths, but I read somewhere that people who are lactose intolerant shouldn't use them! I'm lactose intolerant in the sense that I can't drink a glass of milk or eat ice cream or have yogurt with sugar, but I can have skim milk in my tea and eat cheese. Is this warning true? If so, I'm curious how this would work considering I'm not planning on drinking it! Would it soak through my skin and make me sick? I do have some coconut milk powder -- can I substitute this in place of milk powder in recipes. Or should I be looking at goat's milk, which does not have the lactose? (As a note, I hate goat's milk and goat cheese, so I wonder will it have the same smell and bother me?) Thanks in advance!
