I am very new at this and want to learn more! I am teaching craft classes to youth and they love candles, so the more I learn the better!

  1. I'm just wondering which Canadian supplier you refer to in your message. I'm in Canada and I can't find it here! Thanks! (I did write to National Starch, but I haven't had a response, even though they sent me out a sample!)
  2. I didn't think this would be the case, but since I'm just starting out on this whole wacky adventure, I figured I should ask some questions before I go testing things! The last thing I need after a relaxing bath is nausea! Thanks!
  3. I'm eager to try making milk baths, but I read somewhere that people who are lactose intolerant shouldn't use them! I'm lactose intolerant in the sense that I can't drink a glass of milk or eat ice cream or have yogurt with sugar, but I can have skim milk in my tea and eat cheese. Is this warning true? If so, I'm curious how this would work considering I'm not planning on drinking it! Would it soak through my skin and make me sick? I do have some coconut milk powder -- can I substitute this in place of milk powder in recipes. Or should I be looking at goat's milk, which does not have the lactose? (As a note, I hate goat's milk and goat cheese, so I wonder will it have the same smell and bother me?) Thanks in advance!
