classylady71118
I wasn't sure where to post this as it's not really bath & body, but then linen spray isn't either???? I read somewhere (? can't remember) there is an ingredient you add to unscented fabric softner that will enable you to mix a fragrance with the unscented fabric softner that will allow it to blend together to scent your rinse cycle. The Good Home Company makes one thats Lavender that is exceptional, but it's expensive and I thought if I knew what that ingredient is I would make my own. Just adding Lavender by itself doesn't seem to do it? Anyone know what that ingredient is????TIA,Beverly

classylady71118
Can you give me an idea of amounts of Polysorbate 80 to f/o?TIA,Beverly
soapermom
I think poly 80 you can use 1:1, like poly 20, you can also use fo/eo modifier, at 4:1, the poly is cheaper.
Bunny
I use it at 1:1, but have been told I could go 1 part fo or oil to 2 parts ps80. In using the fo modifier, you can't label your product correctly, as they won't give up the INCI for it. I like it too though, what a PITA! Jorie
I don't know about fabric softener, but if the end goal is to scent the clothes just put a few drops of the desired scent onto a dry old face towel and throw it into the dryer with the laundry instead of a dryer sheet.
