racooper
I know that a lot of you are acutal business owners. So you don't have a problem ordering supplies. BUT I am finding it difficult to order supplies. I am wanting to purchase some of the cool things you all speak of but places online are asking for Vendor Ids or Tax IDs. So do any of you have recommendations? I was ready to spend several hundred dollars today and NOTHING!!! UGGGG:mad:
Vicky_CO
One way is to go in with some one that is already ordering a lot of us will let you piggy back on our orders and they we just ship to you another is keep an eye open to the co-op section most hostess don't mine small orders. Brat
I've ordered from Peak's, Lone Star, Just Scent, Cajun Candle Factory, Candlewic... I've never been asked for a tax ID or vendor ID... maybe try one of these places?
Vicky_CO
I was assuming that Rac was talking about the accessories because that is the only time I have ever had to supply a tax ID. Regular candle supplies you do not have to have a tax ID all you need is a credit card with a lot of room on it.

wookie130
Fillmore Containers doesn't require a tax ID number or vendor number...but I could be wrong.BCN/BCS (Bittercreek North and South) and Candlescience don't require tax ID numbers or vendor numbers. pinetreecandles
If your looking for containers then try this place..http://www.jarstore.com/default.htmThey ask for a company name at signup, but no Tax ID. If you don't have a company name, then make one up. I have found them to have the best prices for the containers that I use.
Tallbabydoll
Not sure if u mean containers as in jars for candles, or B&B containers, but wholesalesuppliesplus.com has both I think and they dont require anything but payment lol. Good Luck
bdank
Where are you shopping? I've bought tons of things from here at Peak, Candlewic, Bitter Creek, Natures Garden, and Just Scents and they never ask me for a tax ID. All you need is lots of $$$.$$. Also, check ebay and the classifieds for discount start-up equipment like molds and wax melters. There are probably as many people quiting the candle biz as there are starting up. Katcameback
I have ordered from about 5 or 6 suppliers, and have never had to supply a tax number. I have ordered from CanWax, VillageCraft, LyndenHouse, Wick Your Wax North and Nature's Garden in Ohio.

racooper
Someone else had posted this beautiful container "Madison Jar" It is at "yes supply company". I tried calling them several times but they never picked up the phone. Who ever posted that picture, man thanks because I think they are the "bees knees" I would love to make candles for my co-workers (the ones I like) for Christmas and these containers would be perfect! So if anyone can tell me how to get these bad boys, I will be eternally greatful!
