MissyK
I live in New Orleans and I am looking for some nice frosted candle jars. When I go online to like the Jar Store and order,my shipping comes out to like $130.00 on 4 cartons. My order is only $220.00. Where can I find cheaper shipping or are all companies going to be like this?:undecided
HeavenScentU
If I had to pay that in shipping I would make pillars and votives. You might want to give them a call and ask about getting a discount if it weighs over 200 lbs. I don't know that seems awfully expensive...Good Luck! sudsnwicks
You could contact them to make sure the shopping cart quote is accurate, and ask if there's a price break if you order 200 lbs to qualify you for hundred weight pricing. Also look around for jars locally. They may not have exactly what you had in mind, but you mind be able to find an alternative which looks just as nice. boggled
You should definately call the jar store and talk to them about the shipping fees. It can't hurt.
Crowded House
You should definately call the jar store and talk to them about the shipping fees. It can't hurt.Agreed. If they can send it by freight even better. I ordered 24 cases of glass (over 300 lbs) from out of state on Monday, they sent it by LTL and it was less than $75 for shipping and the truck was here a day later.I shudder to think of what it would have cost if they'd sent it UPS Ground.
