Carriegsxr6 Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Used 1tbl of ground apricot seed for a three lb batch. Just enough scrubby and the Almond FO from Oregon Trails smells terrific, not too bitter and not too sweet. Quote
michelleB Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Wow! Those sure look wonderful! Nice even distribution of the ground apricot seeds too! Quote
Carriegsxr6 Posted August 26, 2006 Author Posted August 26, 2006 I love using the ground apricot seed, even if you add it at a light trace, the seed is ground up so fine that it is very light and doesnt sink to the bottom. Quote
Brenda Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Love the creamy speckled look you've got going! Quote
Denise2456 Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 OMG!! I bet that smells and feels sooo good. Quote
SoapInTheCity Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 It's a beautiful soap. What kinds of oils did you use to get such a lightly colored soap? Great job! Quote

Great job! i usually just stick with the light colored ones. coconut, palm, palm kernel, olive or sunflower. I think its really the FOs that usually discolor the soaps. Quote
tonyalc Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 Those look great! The apricot seed looks really good in there and I bet it feels and smells great too. Quote
