I tried a bajillion wicks, and they either did not clean up the tin by the time they reached the bottom or they smoked and sooted like mad. I use a soy blend and (2) 51z burn great for most of my FO's, and are not smoky, sooty, or hot. Some FOs I can wick down to (2) 44-24 zincs.For HTP, you may try (2) 41's or (2) 52's. I was just really hoping to be able to single wick...I hate double wicking lolI did order a sample pack of LX wicks...I've used them before in 4627 and liked them.
