gift baskets

I have a company that wants to buy gift baskets from me, and was wondering if anyone knew of a good source to find some. looking for a small to medium size basket.

Where are you located? That could help someone find a supplier in your area or a state close by.

Baskets ordered by the case usually have an oversize charge in shipping, because the box is so large. If you have a state tax # you can check with wholesale floral suppliers in your area, but are most likely very high priced, like they are here.

I've been getting mine from the dollar tree. They have the same style in round and oval, and have had them for quite a while now, and apparantly you can order them too! They are in light and dark stain and have leater handles. May be worth checking them out.

An alternative would be to use decorative boxes. I use the boxes from Boxco.

JMO - I don't like the look of baskets with side handles, after they are wrapped with cello. The top of the cello, where you put the bow, can be smashed down, by customers that don't know how to handle/carry a gift basket. I like tall handle baskets, they give the cello wrap more support.

I'm not with the majority on this, I would not suggest Dollar Tree or anything like that. Try www.kingcraftco.com If it were me, I would want some uniformity in my product.
