atcandles
Does anyone know where I can purchase crackling wood wicks for my candles?

Candle Man
Yep, It's an exclusive by Old Virginia Candles
CandleCouture
That's actually not true. The patent holder is Dayna Decker, and, they license it out to Old Virginia, however, Dayna Decker makes VERY high end candles, with wood wicks and they are actually the innovators of the design. atcandles
Thanks for the replies. I figured they were very exclusive and not for sale, but thought I'd try anyway. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that someone comes up with something similar. Thanks again!!
KJohnson
Actually..there is a lady in Nebraska that I heard is making wood wicked (crackling candles)www.cryincreek.netI havent actually seen one...just heard about them.... Why try a maple wick? How about ambiance with aroma? How about the soothing sound of a mini crackling fireplace while you enjoy your favorite fragrance? It’s scent with sound!
