Quick ??? about glyerin embed for Cp

I want to put a glycerin lime slice on my cp soap, just on top of each piece, will it melt if I put on on while gelling?

I am very new to CP but I have tried this with one batch so far. I didn't watch the soap after I wrapped it and it gelled. The following morning the glycerin slice could still be seen, the color was the same. The only thing that was different was that I couldn't see the little veins in the lime slice.
