friendlyMOM
This might sound silly but was wondering what causes this? I made a batch of soap and it leaves alot of this in the tub and with my other soaps I have made thier is hardly any. Did I do something wrong? Just thought I would ask, maybe its a silly question but my other soaps did not do this
thecandlespastore
Did you switch lotions? Are you sweating more due to change in season? I have always associated soap scum to whatever goes on your skin and how much you sweat. But maybe I am wrong. I notice when I use my shea butter I have more soap scum, and when I dont use any lotion, I have no soap scum.

CareBear
Generally soap scum forms when soaps combine with the minerals in water. The harder the water, the more soap scum. What different soaps do, though, is beyond my extremely limited knowledge!
Lorrie
Ahem ... ladies don't sweat, they glisten Yeah, I wish that was the case with me. I glisten when it is below 60 but anything above... well that is another story.. LOL
