nuriadc8
(sorry for my english) I'm starting to make soaps and candles. I have a question. Can I use the same colorants and fragrances that I use for soaps on candles?
Candle Man
For the color NO because for soap it is water base and you need oil base color for candles. For the FO Most that are soap safe can usually be used for candles but not all candle scents are safe for soap. You just need to check where you get your scents from if they are skin safe. Most suppliers list what their scents can be used for.
Glowlite
Just to add on to what what Candleman said. Candle dye is not skin safe. When you use a dye for bath and body products it must be skin safe.

MaryinCary
Thank you so much for the people who have oriented me (sorry for my english!) But can I use the fragrance oils of soaps in candles? When you buy fragrance oil from a supplier, most of them will state wether or not they are soap safe. I would check your FO supplier before adding them to soap just to be sure!
