  1. I made them today and as I said I used for each 4 ounces of wax, 1/2 ounce of fo's . This because of different scents for each candle that I'm using.
  2. sorry , I refered to 1/2 ounce of fO'S
  3. I was making 4 oz candles (jar candles) and used 1/2 ounce per candle, I haven't burn them but they don't smell so strong. I use fo's from candlechem.
  4. Yesterday I was trying to get some answers from you since the wax I was using for jars was giving me a hard time no matter how many times I poured the wax in the container it still made a whole in the center of thecandle. Finally when I tried the wax c125 from candlechem the problem was solved one pour and that's it. I just wanted to share this with you.
  5. I just got candle wax 125 wich you only have to pour the wax on the container or jar just once .I got it from candlechem. In your experience is it really true that you only have to pour it once?
  6. Sorry for the question but as you kow Im a newbie. I'm making jar candles. And have notice that cleaning the pot where you melt the wax is a DISASTER. I do have the wax remover liquid but still find it hard to take the wax off. What suggestions can you give me on this.
  7. Hi! A question from a newbie. I was making some test on jar candles and used a pint jar wich shoukd be 16 ounces but noticed that with 10 ounces of wax (before melting the wax) it filled the jar so what should I call it a 16 ounce candle or 10? Sorry but I'm a newbie.

  9. Thanks so much for all the hints. I think the Q-tip one is a good option. I was also wondering. I know that per one pond of wax you should add from 1/2 ounce to 1 ounce. When you mix fragrances does the whole mix be that same amount of FO ?
  10. Hi! As you may now I'm starting on making jar candles. I have a very good variety of FO'S . I do have the recipe for diferent mixing ideas. But I wanted to try mixing ideas before I start selling them. But don't want to make a jar out of every mix idea. In what containers or how can I test this fragrances before choosing what I'm going to sell? (sorry for my english!)

  13. Hi, I was making one of my first candles. I made it of jasmine. It smells great .I tried it for a few hours for several days (the color of the candle is a soft blue) and after burning the candle for a few days noticed that the top of the candle is turning sort of green. Can anyone explain this or is this normal? thanks for your help in advance!
