Candlelovr
Very nice. What wicks did you use?I used a #1/0 square braid cotton wick. Burns great in a 3" jar!! Unfortuanately tho, you have to trim the wick everytime before you light it or you'll get some smokin

Laura
6 oz? I've never found any that size. Those look really neat!my guess is because an 8 oz. jj actually holds only about 6 oz. of wax.nice layers by the way!
Candlelovr
Ahh, well, I could be mistaken about the ounces. I bought them a long time ago and the box isnt marked or anything, and I went back to the suppliers website where I got them from and it doesnt say how many ounces it holds. I checked the handy calculators on CT and the jar weighs 6 oz empty and 13 oz filled with water and the calculator says it will hold 6 oz wax. Candlelovr
Got up a lil bit ago and they all have horrible wet spots. I poured the wax cool, heated the containers, they were clean..dont know why this happened. The wax is J223....I probably wont be doing many containers for this show..lol
BrandNewToCandles
My containers all look great after being poured then I get some wetspots, maybe some frosting. It's quite normal, I think. Sometimes when the house warms up again they go away. Your candles look great!!
Meridith
my guess is because an 8 oz. jj actually holds only about 6 oz. of wax.nice layers by the way! That's right Laura, the 8 oz jj will only hold 6 oz of wax. Just like the 16 oz jars actually only hold 14 oz.
