stacien
I bought three frangrances from the three different suppliers and they had different names but were the same scents. JS-SerendipityNG-Mardi GrasBCN-Wild Berry Zinger TeaLuckily they were all samples. It is a waste of money when suppliers change the names. I know its part of this business but it is frustrating. If someone could put together a thread listing the companies with similar fragrances and different names.
whiffandsniff
JS Serendipity and BCN Wild Berry Zinger Tea are totally different oils. Serendipity is coconut like and Zinger Tea is really fruity. I'm confused! LOL
AngelaVA
I had a thread like this about a month or so ago. Something like Fragrance Twins, if you want to search for it. But, I competely agree that BCN Wildberry Zinger and JS Serendipity smell completely different. They really are nothing alike, imho.
sudsnwicks
It is a waste of money when suppliers change the names. I know its part of this business but it is frustrating. We often change the names too, when we're naming our candles, just so we can be unique and have a catchy name. I know it can be frustrating though, when you're the customer. Were the 3 scents having different descriptions which gave no clue of their similarity?
creativecandles
Sorry, I am sniffing both Serendipity and Wild Berry Zinger tea and I agree with the majority, they are completely different to my nose. There are so many companies, I am sure there are many that have the same oils, though! There are only so many manufacturers, they are bound to choose the same FO a time or two. Ring of Fire
I have all 3 of those. Just a sample of the Wild Berry Zinger tea I got quite some time ago. None of these smell even remotely similar.
