carmen3032
I was asked by one of my candle testers (My darling Sis who is a devoted Sex in the City fan :rolleyes2 ) if I can make a candle that smells like a Cosmopolitan (which to my understanding is a drink) my dilemma... I don't drink so I don't know what this looks like let alone what it smells like. any ideas on what scents I could possible use ?
Glowlite
Cranberry and lime juice. I can't remeber what else is in a cosmo.
moonrose64
I looked in my drink mixer book. This is what is in it, but I have no clue what color it should be.Since lime is in it maybe a light green or cranberry color? HTHLime Cordial 1/2 oz. Triple Sec 1/2 oz. Vodka 2 oz. Cranberry Juice 1/2 oz. Lime 1 wedge
blondiee
I have been playing around with this myself. I used to tend bar and a Cosmo is made with Vodka, Cranberry Juice, Lime Juice and a splash of Triple Sec. Triple Sec has an orangy flavor to it, so I'd add just a little bit of orange to your Cranberry & Lime. I tried this a couple of months ago, but I didn't take very good notes so I'm not exactly sure of how much of each I used . If I had to guess, I'd say 2:1 Cranberry to Lime and then just a little bit of orange. HTH
blondiee
Oops, I forgot....it is reddish in color, not real bright but not pink.

andy23
Being a BIG cosmo fan myself , I would say the color resembles a ripe watermelon (the red part of course)!

Fire and Ice
Keep in mind that whatever taste great, doesn't always smell good and may not sell well to the General Public.:rolleyes2
