lid off or on?

I've never poured a candle in my life, but I have surfed this forum a little and have decided to try it.

My question has to do with aging the candle before burning. If I pour container candles and let them age 1-2 weeks, do I leave the lids off so the candle can breathe or cap them?

Hi,

Cap them right after they have set up. It keeps dirt/dust out and produces a great cold throw with the wonderful FO fumes that get trapped in that lid. Hope that helps. Have fun making candles!

I cap my too after they set up.

P.S great choice in wax selection. I love Calwax CB3. Their Pillar blend PB3 is also wonderful. Not many people get the change to experice it since it is only available from the Manufacturer and Swans.
