Fillable Ornament vs. Meat Baller

Recommended Posts

I never had luck using the ornament mold. I couldn't keep the ball together.

I found a neat thing to make mine in and they turn out perfect everytime.

It is called the wondercup.

It is a measure cup that is open on both ends and has a plunger type gizmo with it. (I found cheaper 1's at my $ store)

You put the amount of bomb you want in it then you press down hard.

After you press it good, you just lift up on the cup and push it out with the plunger.

They come out so nice. They end up looking like a big sweet tart candy.

I have only used FO in mine.

Right now I use the ornaments, I had to fiddle with my recipie and try different techniques to get them to stick. I am getting a meatballer soon. I have only used FO for mine so far, do not have any EO, but I like the way the FO works in them. 1 TBS per batch seems to give a nicely scented batch.

You need to post a pic of this. Sounds like a handy thing to have (actually it sounds like a bra!)

Yup that pic is almost like mine.

Yeh it does sound like a bra. LOL

Perfect name for a bra for me.

I always wonder why I bother wearing 1.:laugh2: :laugh2:

meatballer works better in my experience, but I actually like making smaller bath bombs in candy/soap molds (I have leaf and heart shaped ones) and you throw in two or three, instead of one big bomb.

You can also use the clam shells that are used for wax melts. Just pack tightly let dry close lid then label. The customer can break off ever how many they want to use.

and they aren't hard to break apart?
