Do Smelly Jelly jars need warning labels?

Glad you brought that up. I've only made one batch & put no warning or instructions. Gave them to friends & family for cars, etc. I'm not happy with how the recipe I used turned out. I got the recipe from the Aroma Haven website. I used vodka instead of the germaden for preservative. I read that the vodka does just as good. Went to the liquor store and bought a cheap bottle. Problem is, my hairdresser stopped by while I was mixing & drank most of the vodka. I only got one batch made!

If so, what does the warning need to contain? Many thanks!!

YES!

DO NOT EAT

Keep away from Children and Pets

Used Distilled Water ONLY to refresh crystals

(perferated lid only; keep lid on at all times)

DO NOT LIGHT (sounds stupid but you'd be surprised)

That about covers it I think. HTH
